Noah Collard and Callum Page sign first team contracts
After Needham Market Football Club successfully beat Suffolk rivals Lowestoft on Saturday, current Academy student Callum Page signed a first team contract and Noah Collard signed an improved contract. Both players have developed their game within the reserves and Page is still a full time Needham Market Academy student.
With both Collard and Page signing first team contracts, it demonstrates the progression and pathway from the Academy to the first team. Both players have shown the right attitude and ability over the last few seasons and are now showcasing their talents at step 3 football, the highest level of non-league football within Suffolk.
Kevin Horlock, First Team Manager said “I’m delighted along with everyone else at Needham Market Football Club that Noah and Callum have committed their future with us and must say the contracts are well deserved, they are young and still have lots to learn but they have took to playing at step 3 football in their stride and had a big impact in the first team. I am excited and looking forward to continuing to work with them to help them develop and reach their potential.”
Needham Market FC are proud of developing youth players into first team regulars with Collard and Page joining Academy graduates Kieran Morphew, Adam Mills, Jake Dye and Finlay Shorten.
Robert Peace, Operations & Academy Director said “I am delighted for Noah and Callum that they have signed contracts with the first team. Both players add to the success stories of the Academy and I hope they can show everybody how good they are, and I am excited to watch them further develop within the first team.”
